  1. We have juncoes come to our suet feeder too - they are cute to watch. It's -24C here right now and the birds are few. I guess they are hunkered down somewhere trying to stay warm.

    1. Maryanne, In cold weather, birds seem to show up in waves.
      Sunny and cold here today.

    1. Debra,
The way they take turns is hilarious. That small feeder is always busy.
The new birdfeeder is not doing well. I think the squirrels are knocking it open.

    1. Jan,
The video angle was tricky. I had to lean away from the window behind the curtain to not scare the birds away.

  5. I love watching the birds come to our garden. We don't have feeders out this year but still they come. Lots of juncoes, sparrows, chickadees, and lately robins.

    1. Lorrie,
Seeing a robin tells the brain spring is near. There are some that winter over here.
      They gather at building vents.

  6. The birds seem to really like that bird feeder. I like that it sways back and forth. I enjoyed the video showing signs of this wintery season.

    1. Sheri,
It is weird how the birds flock to the smallest feeder. I think it might be due to it being in the deeper cover of the branches. The new feeder is hanging open again. I will have to tie it closed.
