Photography: Spring Morning

Branches are added to provide cover and perches.

Birdseed stations were shut down the end of March.

Transition from Winter to Spring is a cup of seed every other day

  2. we maintain all of our bird feeders, bird baths and watering holes during the summer. i know a lot of people don't because the birds are able to get food on their own during the summer. i just came in from outside, photographing all that is in bloom in my yard. there is always something colorful to photograph!!

    1. Debbie,
Year round birdfeeders are a treat.
In Vermont, bears are a danger. We had one next door this year. I’m glad I stopped putting out lots of birdseed early this year.

  3. Great photo! We will shortly be taking down our suet feeder and putting it away for the summer. The birds (other than the pesky starlings that will empty it in a matter of an hour or so) have pretty much stopped coming so they must be finding food elsewhere.

    1. Maryanne,
Thank you. That one bird and a few others are the only ones hanging on since I shut iff the big supply of birdseed. He looked very content sitting in there.
