Over the years the beauty of gathering in friendship was disrupted in favor of truth history aka there is no Santa mentality.
The pilgrims and natives didn’t have such a feast, and don’t have that friendly neighbors history to share. Today it is all about stolen land.
The truth is that Thanksgiving, based on accuracy or not, is a holiday to celebrate peace and gathering in friendship. Today. That belongs to Today, our hearts today.
There has to be a time when myths are revealed as story telling, that what has evolved over the negativity, be honored.
Thanksgiving is a day of thankfulness that should be celebrated as such by all.
