What to reflect on in November traditionally is what we are thankful for. I suspect many will soon have a fleeting moment of thanks when the election is over. Fleeting because I also believe many Americans, including myself, as well as people around the world may not be pleased with the outcome. One could win outright, and the other by popular vote to lose to the Electoral College.
A prominent issue I've taken from this presidential election is the next four years is time to advocate for changing the nomination and campaign rules. I believe if a person wants to run for office, then they must know the job, the territory, the issues, the entire why and what they want to accomplish in office, and work within a strict campaign budget that's millions less than what is currently being spent.

For this November...reflecting on what to be thankful for is going to feel more important that ever.
