  1. Which tell me that it's a hopper not a walker.

  3. Great photo! I miss them coming to our feeder but now that we only feed suet they don't seem to visit as often.

  8. Mayanne,
Suet here hasn't been touched. It is out in the open, easy to find. In a day or two I'll take it down as weather gets warm, bears thing.

  12. So sweet! We have experienced the annual return of the Mountain Bluebirds and I don't know what they get when there is snow all over, we put out mealworms and it just blows away. Bless the little birdies.

  13. Pattie,
Bluebirds are beautiful to see. There should be little wind shelter huts for bird food that's light enough to blow away.

  14. The bird tracks in the snow that you share on your posts are sweet. I appreciate the pictures very much. I saw some feet tracks one day in the snow. I think it was a squirrel?

  15. Sheri,
Figuring out fox from cat tracks is a challenge recently. I think I'm seeing both.
The squirrels have been scarce ever since the mourning doves were scared to flight, some hitting the patio window. Also, no nuts out in preparation for the end of bird seed season when bears start waking up.
