Zinnia Sprouts
Zinnia Sprouts |
Planted only a week before, the zinnia seeds are sprouting well. They are a needed joy to see.
In the 4 corners of the container, 4 nasturtium are planted. Their peppery flavor is nice in salads and sandwiches.
This week, bachelor button, marigold, and cosmos will be sowed in their own containers. If all goes well, there may be enough to donate to the library plant sale and share with neighbors.
Have you started any plannts from seed yet?
Those first little sprouts are such a joy to see. I will be starting zinnias this week after reading this post!

ReplyDeleteHappy Seed Planting!
I'm surprised how fast the seeds sprouted in less than 7 days. The strongest in a few weeks will go in jiffy pots. Zinnias bloomed late last summer. This year I hope they bloom all summer.
Lovely to see these sprouting :)

Jan,
ReplyDeleteIt was a true surprise to see tiny green.
A bit of time works wonders.
ReplyDeleteWonders indeed, William
ReplyDeleteThere are even more sprouts this week.
Not yet... I have such bad light and no real good spot to start seeds inside... frustrating.
