June 2023 Week 25, Day 173

What Is It Plant?
ID'd ... Lady's Mantle

Whatever the plant is, dew and rain drops sit in the leaves as little crystals sparkling in the light. It reminds me of a type of sedum.

Blogger editor sometimes has mind of its own placing photos and typing space against each other. You have to switch to the HTML mode screen to begin typing at the end or switch to the Compose mode screen to start. In that process, whatever options from the edit bar you've chosen, don't follow you. You have to select them again in the mode you have moved to.

This morning my switch is in the off mode as anxiety (most likely) once again takes over my life. I will feel better later. I will hopefully find a way to around the anxiety. I knew something was up when I didn't go out for four days.
There was a time many years ago when I would not walk to the street corner alone. Reminding myself of my progress is tool of inspiration. It is good to inspect one's achievements, compare, evaluate, set new goals.

I had set a goal of being active outside my home. Thus far, that is not going well.  I face it and try another approach.

It is only day 2 of summer. Time is not flying without me.

  1. Maywyn thanks for the tip concerning blogger. You know I have at times just scratched my photos and draft and started all over again when I could not line things up like wanted. So impressed with your on-line wisdom. Needing a new computer and feel very anxious letting go of my windows 7 but my brother is telling me that time is running out.
Get that anxiety feeling from time to time - even though there is no real reason for it...still comes over me. I will pray that yours doesn't last too long friend. Thank you for the list of smiles soar weekend! Hugs

  2. Debbie,
    I agree with your brother.
It is daunting figuring out what to buy.
My needs are low, no big photo and art editing programs or gaming needed.
I chose an inexpensive AIO, all in one HP, 24 inch screen. The set up was super easy, impressive easy.
I think you will be thrilled whatever the upgrade you buy.
    Hugs

  6. Thank you, Debra!
We've been wondering around here for a while now. Lady's Mantle is an attractive plant, good ground cover, easy to care for, a real solid plant.

Packing a lunch tomorrow to take to a park someplace whether I feel like it or not. It is the only way to get out the door...food.

  8. Thank you, Carol\

The idiotic situation in Belarus is very disturbing. Add that to the fantasies in American in politics, I'm surprised there aren't therapists at every corner.

  9. I think, if it weren't for a DH that likes to go out once in awhile, I could quite easily become a hermit. I didn't find the lockdowns the least bit difficult other than when I was forced to go out to get things like groceries. Luckily our favourite store adopted curbside pick up and that made things so much easier. I can't say that I'm anxious about going out but it IS uncomfortable. Having said that, maybe it IS anxiety and I just don't recognize it.

  10. Maryanne,
It sounds like some anxiety, but you might be an empathic, uncomfortable around the mass of feelings being outdoors exposes. Check out the 30 questions test online for emphaths.
