Finding the Cosmos

Cosmos Drying In Sunshine

Did you know that some computer systems have a main Pictures, and a User Pictures? I didn't. I save multiple versions of the drying in the sun cosmos for a drawing. The picture didn't show up in  my regular Picture file. A hunting I did go.
Ask me how I got there? Well, I clicked on This PC > Windows (C:) > Users > Libraries.

I became interested in flowers drying on the stem circa 2010 when an abundance of irises bought online finally bloomed. Dry irises are beautiful. Cosmos are also lovely when the sun is hot enough to give them a chance to dance.
Sitting on your deck daydreaming, things can capture your imagination. Drawing is a good brain exercise.

  5. Cathy,
Pressed flowers and four leaf clover I often find in old hardcover books. It is wonderful to feel connected to the past in that way.

  6. Thank you, Carol,
Close ups of flowers is a favorite way to photograph them.

  9. Hmmm - Main Pictures and User Pictures...THAT could explain why some things seemingly disappear, or don't appear at all. I spent altogether too much time searching for something I downloaded the other day and couldn't find it anywhere. Perhaps that's the answer.

  10. Maryanne,
During the Save process, it is good to notice when possible, where the system is saving the file to. Uploading, the same thing.
The problem with the Users file is that when in the file, I can't tell if I am there unless I back button.

  15. Jeanie,
I am glad you are drawing more. In some ways, drawing is more relaxing than painting, no colors to wonder about.
