Finding the Cosmos
Cosmos Drying In Sunshine |
Did you know that some computer systems have a main Pictures, and a User Pictures? I didn't. I save multiple versions of the drying in the sun cosmos for a drawing. The picture didn't show up in my regular Picture file. A hunting I did go.
Ask me how I got there? Well, I clicked on This PC > Windows (C:) > Users > Libraries.
I became interested in flowers drying on the stem circa 2010 when an abundance of irises bought online finally bloomed. Dry irises are beautiful. Cosmos are also lovely when the sun is hot enough to give them a chance to dance.
Sitting on your deck daydreaming, things can capture your imagination. Drawing is a good brain exercise.
I can only imagine the benefits of drawing. It would be lovely to be able to draw…
ReplyDeleteI picked some flowers early this morning and put them between the pages of an old hardcover book that I had I hope they dry nicely I haven't done that in a long time.
ReplyDeleteCathy
Beautiful macro floral shots!
ReplyDeleteWishing you good health, laughter and love in your days ~

Marie,
ReplyDeleteDrawing is all about practice.
:)
Cathy,
ReplyDeletePressed flowers and four leaf clover I often find in old hardcover books. It is wonderful to feel connected to the past in that way.
Thank you, Carol,
ReplyDeleteClose ups of flowers is a favorite way to photograph them.
I picked up the pen and drew accurately because my grandson came to visit me and he takes part in a drawing group during the summer holidays... nice...
ReplyDeleteyes, good for the soul and spirit...
hug
I wish you a fantastisk summer.
Viola,
ReplyDeleteDrawing is a wonderful project to do with kids. Good memories there.
Enjoy your summer!
Hmmm - Main Pictures and User Pictures...THAT could explain why some things seemingly disappear, or don't appear at all. I spent altogether too much time searching for something I downloaded the other day and couldn't find it anywhere. Perhaps that's the answer.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pinks!
ReplyDeleteMaryanne,
ReplyDeleteDuring the Save process, it is good to notice when possible, where the system is saving the file to. Uploading, the same thing.
The problem with the Users file is that when in the file, I can't tell if I am there unless I back button.
William,
ReplyDeleteThe colors are quite interesting.
Drawing is wonderful. I love to draw. So much fun.
ReplyDeleteYour flower is pretty! Really pops on the screen.
Thank you, Ivy
ReplyDeleteI think the watercolor will highlight the nice colors.
Docmos are a favrite of mine. I didn't plant any this year and wish I had. I've been drawing a bit more this summer. It feels good.
ReplyDeleteJeanie,
ReplyDeleteI am glad you are drawing more. In some ways, drawing is more relaxing than painting, no colors to wonder about.
