Have you noticed?
On the Blogspot page for Posts when you are logged into your blog, there is a Share symbol on the right next to the posts on the list. If you click on theShare symbol, a black background pop up box appears with a list of places to Share that post with and more. I don't know why or how those places are chosen.
I know very little about what Feed is. I know that a Share button allows you to send the post to various places easily.
I click on share on YouTube. A list appears with optional places to Share with. Here, for example, on Blogger, the video link appears with the option for me to Publish. What happens to a Share to someplace else, I have no idea what goes on there. I only know about the places I am logged into.
In summary, I need to learn more about things I don't know what they do or are for.
😕
Good morning, interesting didn't know this thanks
ReplyDeleteKathy,
ReplyDeleteThe list in the pop up box are suggestions based on place I have been to before mainly via email.
I can send to myself, also listed there, to see what happens. I expect I will receive an email with a link.
Interesting how those little words and symbols are ignored thinking I don't need them. :)
I had no idea. I'll have to check that out!
ReplyDeleteJeanie,
ReplyDeleteFun times discovering things.
I figured, if I don't know what it is, then I don't need to use it. Not a good rule to go by.
Nothing complicated.
ReplyDeleteI tend to avoid funny-looking buttons that I know nothing about in an overabundance of caution. I just know I would mess up my computer somehow and it would need a trip to the spa.
ReplyDeleteNot complicated for you, Ashok
ReplyDelete:)
Maryanne,
ReplyDeleteThat's the way I look at it.
But now, I want to read more about what things are.
I know nothing about any of the settings. I wish I had your curiosity…
ReplyDeleteMarie,
ReplyDeleteI hope I don't confuse myself more than I already am. lol
Never knew there was a share button in Blogger. Janice
ReplyDeleteI'm such a techno dinosaur!
ReplyDeleteI just tend to keep doing what usually works ... although there are glitches from time to time!
All the best Jan
I've never noticed the Share button, but you have whetted my curiosity. Often we learn just enough of the technology we want to use, but don't take advantage of all it can do - for example, phones and cameras.
ReplyDeleteYou are busy learning about cyberspace ~ it seems neverending ~ hugs,
ReplyDeleteWishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

Jan,
ReplyDeleteTech dinosaur here as well.
I can, however, explain to someone how to set up a blog. :)
Lorrie,
ReplyDeleteThe hope is to learn something useful that doesn't frustrate me getting there. I select a word, research, and then move on to the next word.
Carol,
ReplyDeleteThere are times when learning tech stuff is so frustrating, and end being something flying across the room has to be be subdued. lol
Hugs
Janice,
ReplyDeleteOn the bottom of posts there can be icons to share with. The share symbol on the dashboard for posts is new to me as well.
I share lots of online resources with myself. I just hit share, and e-mail myself a link to the thing I want to find again. The only problem is my inbox is now very full of these. Finding a specific link amongst my e-mails may take me longer than just googling the thing and finding it all over again. lol
