Beautiful scenery, it looks like a winter wonderland as I was driving to McD's for breakfast pick up.
Not much fun though sitting in the car with the door alarm going off for a closed door. I had to open driver door from the passenger side. Good thing for me the scraper and brush are in the back seat because the trunk was frozen shut as well. Once open, the doors were fine except for the false alarm feature.
Funny, ordering and getting take out with the door open, the clerk told me lots of folks are opening their doors and have the door alarm stuck frozen this morning. Fun times. Thankfully, the door alarm goes off when driving.
I'm surprised there is snow at 282 feet. The elevation here is about 3,000, so snow is always in the forecast during the Winter months. This is a lovely photo. I really like this one.
Sheri, We are between the Adirondack Mountains in the west and the Green Mountains in the east with Lake Champlain in the middle of the valley. We can get a lot or near nothing snow here. My parents lived only a few miles away in a sort of hollow; and sometimes got dumped with more snow than the surrounding area. It could be deep winter there, and nothing just down the street.
That is a lovely image and ven better that is was taken from indoors and not in frigid temps. I had planned to take a new snow pic from our apt window early today after yesterday's 3+ inch snowfall. That plan was foiled because the screen was frozen in the 15-degree temp. Taking a photo through the screen would have been less than satisfactory, and I am sure there will be a next time this winter.
Beatrice, There will be other times to take pictures. I think this winter might be a snowy one, not big blizzard snowy, just a few inches at a time. I pray for that.
Lovely picture
ReplyDeleteBeautiful capture!
ReplyDeleteIndoors is a good place to be when it's that cold. Right now it's -12C here which is pretty close to you. Stay warm!
