It Is Another Tuesday

Circles 2023
Digital photo

The memory of creating the digital photograph on the left is stored so deep that I can't reach it.

As we get older, feeling worried when we don't remember something can feel very unsettling. Taking the date created, I can go to that folder to see what else I was up to in 2023.

As for today, the sun is shinning. It is cold. Spring is a mere 28 days away. The carnations I bought two weeks ago are just fading. None of the buds opened though. My spider plant looks like it just got home from an all night rave that it wasn't ready to leave. Blogging, again, is on the when to stop radar, blip yes, blip no, blippity blip as it goes.

Time to read a book.

  1. It's sunny here today, lovely. But cold. Definitely a good book day!

  2. Jeanie,
The sun is so bright, I have to block the glare.
    Good reading day for sure.

  4. It is a great day for a book. Sunny but windy and cold.

  5. It's cold and rainy here, very dull. Indoor pursuits are best. I did some writing, looked after two little grandgirlies for a few hours, and cooked dinner.

  6. Happy Stitching, Janice
The sun was bright here as well.

  7. Marie,
Sunny here. I was in such a hurry, I don't remember the wind today. But I did see the trees moving. lol

  8. Lorrie,
Your day sounds wonderful despite the rain.
Dinner. I cooked so much black bean chili with rice yesterday, I didn't have to cook today.

  9. I've been sewing on the sewing machine all morning, beautiful colorful cheerful fabrics... it's cloudy outside - but now the sun is coming out and I'll hurry up to go out and take a walk.
Otherwise I read a historical novel... a happy greeting to you. Your circles are interesting - on fabric and I would sew a bag out of them. Hug from Viola

  10. Viola,
    Have a nice walk.
The pattern colors can be changed for a series of quilt blocks for totes.

  11. Interesting photo that I could 'see' as a painting (or, for that matter, an embroidery).
As for not remembering things, I choose to think that it's simply my brain being overloaded with years and years of trivia.

  12. Maryanne,
That is a good way to think.
Not enough room for every thought feels a good way to put it.

  13. Only 28 days until it's officially spring?!? I didn't really want to know that. That said, it's in the 60's this week, so spring is coming whether I'm truly ready for it or not.

  14. Becki,
Spring is in 26 days now.
    I'm counting. lol
However, I expect more winter in those almost 3 weeks.

  15. I'm looking forward to spring! It's been sunny lately, but still a bit too cold to be outside for too long.
I have MANY spider plants, with babies growing from a lot of them. I've given quite a few away, and will send more out after repotting babies in a month or so.

  16. Mary,
My spider plant needs to be divided, and put on a hanger. I hope to find an extention pole.
