Day 117 of Week 17 April 2024
It is a beautiful day here in Vermont. At lunch time, it was out and about for a short walk and picture taking. Hearing honking, I saw a goose flying in the distance off to the right out of frame.
Using my iphone 13, pictures do not turn out well, even with editing. Serendipity excursions means that I don't always have a better camera with me.
Have a Camera Ready Weekend!
Play catch with a love one
Draw a row boat
Browse tents online
Read about flowering quince
Make pickled beets
Sing to your socks
Design your own camp shirt
Tell a daffodil a silly story
Ahhhh - just the type of road I love to travel! Gone are the days when we take off down an unknown road just because we could because now DH gets a tad antsy if he doesn't know where he is. I, on the other hand, never worry about it and am endlessly curious about what's 'round the next bend or around the next corner.
ReplyDeleteMaryanne,
DeleteYou have the right attitude, exploring is fun in the countryside.
In a city, it is scary.
Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteY'all as well, Marie
DeleteI hope on PEI it is gorgeous weather this weekend.
I love to explore, too. I met a friend for lunch and a leisurely afternoon in a small town half way between us. Back in my car, and driving away, instead of turning right to head home, I turned left and enjoyed probably a half hour excursion exploring some lovely rolling countryside. The roads were narrow and winding, though, and unsafe to stop and take pictures, but it was beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBecki,
DeleteIt is good you had a beautiful drive. The scenery must have been relaxing to experience.
That does look lovely! I'll keep my camera close at hand, as you suggest!
ReplyDeleteJeanie,
DeleteA neat little camera tote is Ideal to keep around when out and about.
'Tis that time of year when the geese are passing through. Don't you just hate it when an opportunity presents itself and you do not have a camera? It always seems to happen to me!
ReplyDeleteJim & Barb,
DeleteTurning around to get a camera doesn't always happen. Instead, I stay home.
What a pretty blue sky. Rainy day here with storms predicted this afternoon. Janice
ReplyDeleteJanice,
DeleteStay safe!
Those storms are just horrible.
We had a downpour this afternoon. After it stopped, I heard robins everywhere.
