Day 152 of Week 22 May 2024

Selecting core ideas to expand on can take time. This is what brainstorming blog ideas looks like:

Questions you don’t need the answers to

  •          Why does my big toe look like a boulder sticking out of an outcrop?
  •          When will outdoor rain shower stalls in every home catch on?
  •          Why is the age of my mind voice a decade plus, younger than my real age?
  •          What does my brain think of my dancing?
  •          What will wearing a color I dislike for a week do to my attitude?
  •          Could I be reincarnated as a tree instead of an animal?
  •          If I’m thinner and toned, then would I wear a butt revealing bikini?
  •          How did the World get into a common sense drought?
Lady's Mantle

Scribbling out the days on the calendar is an exercise that instills a feeling of a brighter future.

Hand washing clothes has a smooth sunny day laundry vibe. Machine washing clothes has a burning the germs out vibe.

Sleeping and being awake is not a stop and go process for our bodies. Our bodies are on 24/7/365. Physics tells us that we will erode in some ways, but not in others. Our ears will grow our entire lives. Hair and nails continue to grow for a time after death.

Have a Wonderful Weekend!

Read about the history of lamps
Explore local breweries
Tell a plant a funny story
Sing to your sandals
Draw a pinwheel

    1. Jim & Barb,
I was watching television that day, and just sitting here thinking. Writing them down began with the big toe.

    1. Becki,
The flowers on the Lady's Mantle aren't very spectacular. The rain on the leaves is the highlight of the plant.

  5. An interesting list of things worthy of contemplation. I certainly wouldn't be wearing a bikini, toned body or not.

    1. Maryanne,
The freedom of being confident enough to wear what you want where, and when you want is, I believe,
      a perk of being young.
I highly suspect though, if I was toned, then I would post a tasteful photograph of myself on Twitter as a way of supporting my age group.

  8. I don't know.. maybe I would like the answer to a few of them.. especially the wear a hated color for a week. That's sounds like an interesting experiment.
The butt revealing bikini will never happen for me.
Common sense drought.. i like that. I think we always had it but the internet has made it more obvious.

    1. Hena,
      Good point.
I agree, the Internet has made the lack of common sense more evident.
The color for a week, I've been trying to wear a pair of red culottes I bought at a rummage sale.
So far, I tried them on. I will try to wear them all day to see how it feels. I like red, but not as a color for me to wear.

The Lady's Mantle leaves are always full of little sparkling rain drops when it does rain. It is their best feature.
