Day 342 of Week 49 December 2024

The snow is falling here in the Champlain Valley on the upper westside of Vermont. Bird tracks in the snow greet the early morning when about an inch was on the ground. Then there’s rabbits hoping about.

It is Saturday. Without cable, antenna TV is lousy for  adult programs especially today. Streaming shows is the best option. I do not want to fall back into that money sucking portal called cable television.

A good option is to change up the weekend by reading on Saturday morning! Well, maybe not the most exciting thing to do but it is better than dusting.

❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️

Have a Weekend of Options!

Tell a glass of water a happy story
Read about boot history
Make a potholder loom
Dance to “Jingle Bells”
Bake a pumpkin
Cook lentil & pumpkin soup
Browse online afghan patterns
Have lunch out with friends
Inventory your face masks
Shop online holiday pajamas

    1. Maryanne,
The snow stopped here early in the day. Freezing temperatures though.

  2. I envy you the snow. Fresh snow is the prettiest thing in winter. Reading is definitely better than dusting! In fact, I think reading is better than watching television. Have a good evening!

  3. We’ve been watching bird and squirrel tracks in the snow along the boardwalk. Love those traces visible in the snow!

The bird tracks are a delight!
There were a lot of them after the snow stopped.
