Lion Resting ~ Rembrandt 1650-1652
A favorite ink drawing

I think the cows & America share that feeling.

  1. The final photo speaks volumes doesn't it.
I have hope for better days but sometimes it's hard to find it. Thank goodness for the blogging world and the respite most of them provide.

  2. I always delight in your photos. The one on your Header of the sea gulls is really nice. I always remember the first day of Spring, as that was a dear friend's birthday. : ) That drawing of the lion is fantastic!

    1. Sheri,
Rembrandt’s drawings I mix up with Durer’s drawings. Both were excellent draftsmen and artists.

    1. Marie,
The baby swuirrels melt the heart. There were 3 of them in the willows’ hollow. One fell into the hedge row. He was as light as a feather! zI put him in a planter on a bench under the tree for protection from neighborhood cats, and where his mom would find him. When she came back, she sniffed around, found him and carried him back to the nest.
