A Slow February Day

This morning when I was out early, tiny ice pellets were falling. Back indoors, coffee in hand, big fluffy snowflakes were falling.

It was like that most of the day. Late afternoon, it is warmer and there’s melting going on at 38°F.

A slow day. During a corner chair sit, I glued two wood slat pieces together with a strip of old canvas for a fun signage project.

Many unplanned craft projects end up needing something. This one needs a better Sharpie.

How was your day?

    1. Jeanie,
Finding things close by to craft with is like a mini vacation.

  3. Yet more snow fell yesterday but it seems the big storm passed our area by (thankfully). Facing going out shortly and having to clean the car off and shovel around it once again. It never seems to end this winter.

  4. We also had another snow yesterday, a pretty big one, and with the one from last week, it's about 2 ft. of snow. But this time, the rain came the next day, and turned it into a slushy snow instead of a hard icy snow. Your art work is always so inspiring to look at.

    Happy Valentine's Day.

    1. Lorrie,
Cold air on open water is like a frozen hug from Mother Nature.

  6. Thanks for asking, Maewyn, I really had a great day on Thursday because I was able to compose a new post, which always takes me a while as I keep getting sidetracked with wanting to learn something more before including it.
