Catching Up & Stuff
A Winter Sunset in Vermont |
Rain is in the forecast for this afternoon. Up early, I hope to finish errands and puttering before then. After a spin on my exercise bike, I want to watch the rain as I pretend it is an April shower. I will sip a flavored hot tea. No cookies with my tea because the two boxes of Girl Scout cookies I bought over the weekend are gone.
Interesting, after such a long time dealing with knee pain (last injection March 2023), it is weird to not have that issue. There is a feeling of loss. It is as if my brain is asking me if I'm sure I want to walk like this. What happened to the limp?
Recently, I've been watching YouTube videos of abandoned house restorations. There's a guy in Newfoundland that renovated an island cottage that is a good watch.
Puttering is progressing well. By Spring, I should be ready to unpack all the summer clothes I barely finished putting away.
Today, working on sweep up week, I've sorted WiFi connection issues, two blogs, (1 published), and what earrings I'm wearing today. The published blog is a few years old. I haven't posted an update since about 2023.
In all, I think I have about a dozen blogs with about 3 or 4 published. A Blogspot early blog is still published in order to save the 2010 date that it began. My first blog here in 2008 was deleted by my mistake.
Enjoy your day!
Oh, I wanted to buy some Girls Scout cookies at the store, but didn't have cash with me. I love the chocolate mint ones. It's time to get those Spring clothes out soon. I'm glad you woke up with no knee pain or limp. Now, I must get some of those Girl Scout cookies. They go nicely with a hot cup of tea. : )

Sheri,
DeleteChocolate Mint and Trefoils are the cookies I bought. They are expensive for the amount.
Abandoned houses - one of my favourite things! I'll be sure to check that site out. We evidently had some raindrops this afternoon and nice to see the temps are above zero. Not by much, but still.
ReplyDeleteMaryanne,
DeleteThat renovation is a rough one, 2 story cottage. How he did so much by himself is amazing.
