On the look out for the first dandelion to blossom this spring, I’ve seen tulips breaking ground.
The blue and white bits are from the planter that was over them through the winter. This time of year it isn’t easy to not get out there and clear out the flower beds. I know we can still have hard frosts. I put dry grass over them sometimes.
I was just reading that you shouldn't clean up your flowers beds until we have at least a week of temps 50 or above because the bees are still over-wintering. Something to keep in mind.

DeleteI was just about to clear out the dry grass this weekend to find other tulips. They’ll have to push through on their own.
