I found a UK YouTube channel for artist Leslie Stroz that is very informative and inspiring. Putting together a kit for plein air painting is different for everyone. I expect there are as many who are organized as those that, like me, stash things with whatever is around.
I found my art supplies for the outdoors in a plastic envelope I even forgot I had, and wouldn’t think to look for art tools in there.
Getting a grip on ease of use, first on my list is a roll up brush, pen and pencil holder. Second, is a versatile clip board like one on a Stroz video. Third, an apron because I tend to be messy. (Remember the post about my flipping a glob of acrylic paint in my hair?)
