The swivel attachment to a deck chair for a Mainstays Chair Clip-on Beach Umbrella that provides 50+ UPF protection. Purchased from Walmart, Williston, Vermont.
The material is sturdy, and, the metal is smooth and coated. I am thrilled it is so nice.
My old chair umbrella is broken in a few places and not ad well made as the replacement.

That's an interesting idea. I rarely sit in the sun anymore (though I'll walk or be out there, but not just sit to read.) I wish I had that when I did.

I like the UV protection the umbrella has. Instead of a regular rain umbrella, I’ll use a chair clip in umbrella when walking in the sun or on cloudy days when some UV rays can reach Earth.

I am grateful that our balcony faces east and so we don't get the hot afternoon sun. I always have to wait until after the sun moves before I can sit out there though because I break out in little itchy blisters if I'm in the sun for too long. Our balcony is too small to allow any sort of umbrella.

DeleteSorry you have that condition as a sun rash can be scary. One day there may be a clip on sunscreen device for small balconies.
First time, I freaked out. What’s wrong with my leg! I was reminded as we age our skin becomes thinner. Sun allergy is not pleasant.
