Almost
Autumn is 4 days away!
Leaves in the higher elevations are showing fall colors. It is still daylight at 6 PM EDT, but I need to turn on the living room lamp. I can see the sun on the tree tops and shadow down to the ground.
Have a Bright Weekend!

Pray for reasonable rain
Yes, reasonable rain surely would be nice! They are predicting the tree colour this year won't be good because the trees are so stressed from lack of rain. Speaking of apple recipes - we bought some apple pie ice cream today (also got some pumpkin IC too). Fall flavours to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteMaryanne,
DeleteApple pie ice cream sounds good!
There are trees showing stress here in Vermont, turning brown and dropping leaves. It’s sad.

Beautiful autumn leaves! I was in a store today and they had put out winter gloves, so I bought a pair since mine have holes. And I needed to replace my sunglasses - so on the cusp of a new season I bought something for the old. We are praying for rain here, too. So needed.
ReplyDeleteLorrie,
DeleteA local hardware store has a sunglass display with the best selection around.
Not a place you’d think to buy them.

These colors look very similar to the tree I saw in town yesterday. So Fall looking. Spinach quiche sounds wonderful. And I do hope we get some rain this Fall. Have a lovely weekend.

I was starting to see more color at the lake this week. Yes, it's coming.
ReplyDeleteJeanie,
DeleteThe lake must be beautiful this time of year. Foliage reflections on the water warm the heart.
