First Video Footage!

At the Robert Frost Interpretative Trail recently, I recorded footage of what was supposed to be to be a tour of the trail, a simple tour with minimal narration.

Instead, I just filmed and chatted because it is past the peak foliage I had hoped to record for the video. Plans change.

I’m still struggling with the YouTube channel do or don’t aspect. The big what do I have to bring to the world question hangs over me.

They: Oh, nobody is going to bite you! 😠
Me: Maybe so, but I know they all have teeth. 😎

That is how I look at life. Being told I worry too much or it’s all in my mind is highly insulting.

It is not all in my mind. What we read in the news today is real. Anyone going against POTUS is subject to retaliation. The irony I see is the danger from within, is created and fueled by him.

So what do I have to bring to the World? Respite.

  1. It's wise to be guarded in certain areas of our lives. There is much cruelty out there. But that won't ever stop me from loving or giving or caring. The best part of your video is hearing your sweet voice. Have a good October week, my dear.

    1. Sheri,
My voice sounds years younger than I am. 🤣
Sitting on a bench chatting was nice.

    1. Marie,
The view there to across the street is really lovely, and it gets a good amount of sunshine.
      Thank you. I blush.

  3. A lovely spot for a picnic. It's hard to know how much to put on social media these days. I pray for wisdom.

    1. Lorrie,
In a short 3 minute video, I can edit out more than I thought I would. Editing is like getting a dress fitted, lots of seams to adjust.

  4. It's a beautiful spot -- even past peak. I hear you on recent political fright. Standing up is important but it comes with a risk.

    1. Jeanie,
Risk becomes larger every day. A nice picnic on a sunny day helps.

  5. It's lovely to hear your voice! And the Route 125 photo is spectacular (more fodder for a painting I would think)

  6. Maryanne,
Recording is fun. You can notice things and still continue on with the main subject.
