There is something about hockey, I believe, especially in New England, that flows in the deep like no other sport.
Even my old holy rollie Bible hugging grandmother could turn into a fire breathing monster during a hockey game.
I have to admit that I am not a sports fan...except for bowling and figure skating! I did enjoy watching hockey when Guy Lafleur was a player in the Montreal Canadians! He was fantastic, could get a goal from far away and make it look so easy.

DeleteNot much of a sports fan here, but will watch sometimes.. I use to watch golf to relax because commentator’s voice is so doothing.
