i came back to see if anyone was sure. i took a picture with my iphone and it identified it as "maple". "acer is a genus of trees and shrubs commonly known as maples. itis placed in the soapberry family sapindaceae". i always forget that my iphone identifies most things!!
i don't know but it is a beautiful picture!! i have been walking through the yard, whatching all my gardens and trees come to life!!
