Did everything go as planned this week?

If there were plans that is, then did they go well?

Thinking, a few mini plans missed being done. Laundry. I don’t like doing laundry after 5 PM. Today will clear out that failure. Another is the  party for Midsummer’s Night Eve party. I had a few Oreo cookies instead. I rarely buy cookies. The often one of didn’t go as planned, the trip to drop off things at the thrift store. And the awful one, I didn’t organize documents I need.

Otherwise, this last week has gone by smoothly. Major plans, I’ve learned are best kept in the category of maybe someday. 

Hand sewing alterations, doing hems mostly, has entered my task’s list. As a kid, there was always an ironing to do basket, and sometimes a basket of sewing to do. 

How the flow of our days are doesn’t require plans or routines we keep to. What needs to be done is or it isn’t. The treasure of another day is a blessing. 

Lots of rain this week
