Crafts you’ve wanted to do for ages

There are bins at a local thrift store with hardware for all sorts of things.

Early 2000 I made a wall coat rack that was too large to hang on a wall. Slow forward to this week, another rack is in the works using drawer knobs as hooks on a piece of kiln dried pine. Where will it go?

On a repurposed picture frame. The necks of the drawer pulls aren’t long enough for coats. I don’t like hanging sweaters on one hook. Thus, it is now a necklace hanger.

Putting aside projects for one reason or another is not a bad thing to do. It is more fun, though, to bring them forward. Taking a break from the list of things that need to be done is like sitting the porch to take in fresh air.

Still on my put aside list is learning how to make biscuits, quilted exercise mat cover, and how to knit socks.

What’s on your put aside list?
