Email Maintenance

Sorting through email addresses that have blogs attached can be a nightmare.

If you don’t completely sign out beyond the Sign out of all accounts, then the default gmail might block access to the account blog you signed into.

After Sign out of all accounts, scroll down to manage the account, click on that and scroll down to the “sign out” at the bottom.

Then you can sign in clear to the gmail address with the blog you want to manage.

Ah, I just found my other pen in the folds of my tunic hem. 😂

I post about this at least once or twice a year.

So as it goes, logging into your emails every month, is I feel, a good idea. Many people have specific email addresses for categories. For example, family only, pay bills, retail websites, bank, medical, friends, vehicle, insurance, and so on.

How long doing email address maintenance depends on how many you have. Checking Outlook, AOL, Protonmail, Yahoo or Gmail separately can make it easier to handle.

The blogs you may have that are or aren’t published should be noted next to the email address in your written password book.

On your Google account through Blogger, you can have up to 100 blogs. I feel weird only having a dozen or so. Online search results indicate world wide there are 600 million blogs.

Check out blog statistics for 2026 on wix.com.

I am happy to report that after 18 years blogging (not all on blogger), I no longer go through life questioning whether everything I see or do will be good to blog about. In the first ten years or so, that was running in my brain’s background.

Bloggers evolve with experience. In conversation now, when asked what I do, I can say I’m a blogger. Instead of a blank stare or awkward moment of silence, I might see the person perk up with interest. 😎
