Reflection Monday September 2014
Thinking of summer is easy when the New England weather forecasts a temperature of 85º Fahrenheit (29.4º Celsius). Letting go of shorts, sandals, picnics, and summer toys is the challenge. Minds have things to feel about that are apt for the weather.
Spring mode is to plan for summer. In days gone by garden success meant surviving winter. On the see saw of seasonal mind sets, the autumn harvest days brings to this mind, preparation to survive winter's blues.

ReplyDeleteHi Loree,
DeleteI agree, always blue can be blue. I think we depend a bit on the sky to inspire creativity.
This sounds like a great winter list, May!
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa,
DeleteThank you. The T tunic is an easy pattern. Made with fleece, it can feel like walking around in a blanket.
Dear Maywyn - these all sound like good plans for winter - especially the library one. Hope you are enjoying what is still remaining of these wonderful warm days. P.S. I am not giving up picnics, shorts, sandals and such until it gets so cold I must! Hugs - have a great day.
