Can't BeTrusted With Frozen Fries In the Freezer
Cross Cut Frozen Fries |
Any style of frozen fries aren't safe around me because I will have them with almost every meal. The cross cut fries are new to me. I rather like them. I also rarely buy cookies because they
Horrid eating patterns require creative management. As I posted in the past, I make rules about certain foods. Pizza every other month, not accumulative. Ice cream the same. No boxes of frozen treats like flavored ices and ice cream sandwiches. So far after a few years, my system is working well.
Are there foods you like that you regulate?
In short, no. Unless I'm going on a complete fast of something like sugar or pop. At this point in life, I do put some foods into a "rare treat" category, like candy, cake, cookies, desserts in general. I just don't keep them around. But when something like this is around, we enjoy it until it's gone. You're making me think about this, though...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blog
ReplyDeleteThank you, Rajani
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful weekend
Becki,
ReplyDeleteUntil it's gone is a good for seasonal fruits. I wish some of them were year round.
I don't have a problem with fries because I mostly don't care for them much. Potatoes in pretty much any other 'form' are high on my like-list though.
ReplyDeleteDon't dare buy anything like ice cream sandwiches because they'd be too much temptation. Ice cream itself is in our house all summer long and we have a little bit on the weekends. Once the weather turns cool we don't bother with it.
Ice cream and chocolate are my downfall. I hate having them in the house. They require an extra layer of will not to eat them when my husband brings them home.
ReplyDeleteI hear you on the cookies and the frozen fries. When it is in the house it is dangerous!
ReplyDeleteMaryanne,
ReplyDeleteA favorite potato is baked with a crispy skin, and a soupy center of butter and sour cream.
Marie,
ReplyDeleteThe only way chocolate lasts in my home is if and when I forget it is there.
Jeanie,
ReplyDeleteIt's pathetic of me, but I put cookies in the freezer to slow down eating them on the rare times I do buy them.
I've gone for a long time without it in the past, but ice cream has been a weakness for me all throughout this summer. Actually, just finished a mug of vanilla.

Mary,
ReplyDeleteI just finished off the last of the cross cut fries.
Yay for Us!
I'm on an ALDI frozen fries and potato puffs break. Bake to homemade for me, for now. I'm a HUGE Potato fan and it's back to homemade for me.
ReplyDeleteIvy,
ReplyDeleteHomemade home fries are the best. I use boiled potatoes, chopped up, and into the fridge overnight for breakfast the next day.
SAME!!!! Only I also make fries, waffle, regular and crinkle cuts, rinse all the mucky water away and store fully submerged in cold water, with lid, in the fridge. Then dry what I want off, and into the air fryer! Delightful.
ReplyDeleteIvy,
ReplyDeleteAir fryer!
I'm putting it on my budget list.
Thank you
I'd say everything in moderation.
ReplyDeleteWilliam,
ReplyDeleteExcellent advice.
The discipline to maintain moderation with foods is my weakness.
