What strikes Your Fancy?
Sometimes, something will strike your fancy. You don't need to figure out why or understand anything other than you like what you see.
For creative types, our fancy is always open for a new experience.
I have the feeling that the photo posted here is one of those mysterious sights that strikes my fancy.
I don't need to know why. Yet, I have been analyzing how the reflection on my patio window of me sitting under my chair umbrella, intrigues me.
I can't see myself even though I know I am there.
Simple funny stuff for a summer afternoon
Part of it looks like a painting.

Creative minds are such a blessing to this world!
ReplyDeleteYes, usually the delightful things strikes our fancy. Unique tea cups always does it for me. ; )
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend. Hope it's not too hot there in Vermont. It's been warm here, but cooler in the mornings and late evenings.

Cathy,
ReplyDeleteThat's what I think. Weird it does look like a painting. I should try it to see how it looks.
Marie,
ReplyDeleteThat is so true!
Shri,
ReplyDeleteThat's funny. Tea cups do carry a lot of charm.
I use to have a fancy for yard sale dollar lamps and chairs until I didn't have room for more. lol
Creative photo and fun !
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Happy Birthday wishes ~
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

I have fancy strikes all the time! The latest was when I saw the photo I'm working from now. There was something about the juxtaposition of the old truck and the dead end sign that spoke to me.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Carol
ReplyDeleteI hope your birthday was wonderful.
Maryanne,
ReplyDeleteDead end street signs are special.
I see more often, Not a Thru Way instead. For years a local dead end sign was up next to an old cemetery at the start of a dead end street. Some busy body had it removed and changed.
I love being creative and getting into things. Been that way since a little kid, thanks to my parents for encouraging us to play!
ReplyDeleteIt is an intriguing image.
ReplyDeleteIvy,
ReplyDeleteOur play as a kid began when we were put out the door. lol
Thank you, Hena
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading about your trip to Switzerland!
How interesting -- I will take your word for it that you are there!
ReplyDeleteJeanie,
ReplyDeleteI'm right under the band of red. I can almost see a dark area that might be me.
I love that moment when something strikes my fancy!! The spark! I love the photo you shared here, with its soft colors, with its multi-layers, with its mystery!
ReplyDeleteIvy,
ReplyDeleteA spark is a good description.
I totally get it... simple, funny, neat things that intrigue us don't have to be figured out, just enjoyed.

Mary,
ReplyDeleteA quarter pound of fudge from a boardwalk stand is such a simple neat thing. :)
A creative shot.
ReplyDeleteWilliam,
ReplyDeleteIt was there beside me where I rarely look.
