Reflection Monday September 2023
Bubble Living
The barrier, I believe, that you create to maintain your personal environment
in a state of disconnect from the World around you.
~~~~~~~~~~
Common sense
Sound and prudent judgment based
on a simple perception of the situation or facts
It is all around us mentally.
Reflect on where you are
as the source
of sunlight.
I’ve been in a bubble lately. It doesn’t help though.
ReplyDeleteInteresting you should say that about sunlight because I came across this quote and I think it fits...“To be happy you must be your own sunshine.”- C.E. Jerningham
ReplyDeleteA very interesting reflections. Yes, the better is to be a self brilliant Sun, ever that It was possible.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I think many live in a bubble right now....or maybe heads in the sand. Happy Labor Day. Janice
ReplyDeleteMarie,
ReplyDeleteA bubble is sometimes a good protective space.
I image my bubble with a grape ivy plant and a deep turqoise Asian style rug. :)
Maryanne,
ReplyDeleteThank you for the great quote! It is easier to remember. :)
J.S.,
ReplyDeleteThankfully in New England this week we are having lots of sunshine.
:)
Janice,
There many folks with their head in the sand.
I couldn't agree more!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week, Jeanie!
ReplyDeleteI agree with these quotes. I seem to have been in a bubble for many months now, if not years. I hope to be more active in the blogging world in the coming weeks.
ReplyDeleteGood to see you posting, Loree
ReplyDeleteTaking a break or slowing down blogging happens to most of us. This summer has been good for setting folks off kilter.
Have a wonderful week!
perspective comes from where we are from and where you are going
ReplyDeleteCathy
Sometimes a bubble is what we need but we can't live there forever.. being outside the bubble is also essential.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteCathy,
The perspective today, is that I wish I had stayed with the Android system. :)
Hena,
ReplyDeleteEssential, for sure, I agree.
A quick and easy getaway to the bubble is sometimes as well. :)
They look stoic.
