as a yearly event, the celebration has 
next year to plan for. Sign up to 
volunteer, particpate or sponser.

    Indigenous Peoples' Day is a very important day to celebrate in America, for many reasons. I hope some day it becomes more important to the majority, and PBS.

    Governor Witmer recently signed the resolution for the 2nd Monday in October as Indigenous Peoples' Day in Michigan to honor the state's 3 tribes, Chippewa, Ottawa and Potawatomi.
