Sorting Art Folders from Years Gone By
Pencil sketch 1980 |

Ohs, Ink Drawing 101 circa 2001 |
Trying out new drawing papers
Gull's Mirro Digital photo circa 2005 |
I went through a seagull phase early 2000.
Gull Couple Watercolor sketch |

Ink and watercolor abstracts are my relaxation images.
Nothing I found is being tossed.
I pulled out a few photographs to
place them in a to paint folder.
I am happy to report that I remember each image,
(not so much the dates though).
I've been puttering all morning. So maybe the nasturtium thing
will prove to be a positive addition to my lifestyle.
P.S. Post's title change because every time I read it, for a second or two,
my mind scrambles with reading...sorting old art folders as sorting old farts.
Love the gull sketch!
ReplyDeleteMarie,
DeleteThe gulls at the boat ramp are funny to watch. There's a lot of little fish along the edge.
I save the old art, too. It reminds me where I started and how far I've come.
ReplyDeleteJeanie,
DeleteOld artworks are the best critiques we can have.
I've been spending a lot of time going through my old blog posts and removing most of the links (many of which are outdated and no longer available) and it's nice to be reminded of some of the work I did between 2006 and 2021.
ReplyDeleteMaryanne,
