Presently, I am working on a cloud formation photograph file. It is not an easy project. The classification I've given for the clouds in the photographs is my best guess from looking at several pictures online as well as knowing they are high clouds.

There is a winter storm watch in this Vermont, New England area for Friday night into Saturday night with as much as 7 inches of possible snow, and difficult travel expected. Winter is going out with a bang or Spring arriving with a take that to winter?

Doesn't matter. It is going to snow.

  1. Beautiful clouds! Snow predicted here too, possibly more than we've had the whole winter.

    1. Jan,
The project is fun as I wait for the sky to give me examples. Old photos are helpful, but not organized well.
      Have a fun weekend!

  4. I woke to snow today, too. Sigh. It didn't happen in January or February. Now that Im' ready for spring and flowers have popped, here it comes. More is predicted but I'm holding out on the hope they are wrong!

Sadly, the snow plowers will have one last go at snow.

  5. Love the photos. I find when all else fails, I look up. The sky never disappoints. We are getting the same storm. Take care!

    1. Marie,
The storm is forecast to begin tonight. On the weather radar, it looks that PEI will be snowing when we are.
      Stay cozy!

  6. It's nice that you have a cloud file. I have always loved to take cloud photos. They are so mysterious, and often see shapes and faces in the clouds. I'm glad you are back to posting again. Enjoy the snow while it lasts. Although we've had sunny days, Winter is not over quite yet, as I hear we may get some more rain.

    1. Sheri,
The snow will be awful to drive in. Prayers go there.
It will be nice though, to see a winter snowfall even in the spring. I'm sure it will be our last for the year of any depth.
      Have a wonderful weekend!
