It's incredible to me to see what's happening around the world these days. So much suffering, so much torture, so much division. Politicians seem to have no conscience and say things only to appeal to voters. I am comforted in knowing this: God is watching and one day the evil he's allowing now will be ended. And also, He is here, with me, with you.
Great photo with that poem.

ReplyDeleteLorrie,
DeleteGod is watching Yes!
In knowing Him, there is hope.
The poem leaves much to ponder - thank you!
ReplyDeleteMaryanne, Wishing you and the Resident Chef a wonderful holiday
DeleteI've always loved poetry. So nice that you thought of a "Poetry Thursday" post. And those red flowers are so pretty!

I'll save a cutting.
Have a wonderful week!
