There has been nice breaks in the rain storms. Being outdoors this time of year is very relaxing.

    1. Pattie,
Thank you. I will check out Glenn Gould.
I discovered last winter that listening to piano music can help me sleep.

    1. Jeanie,
Orchards in full bloom are very magical. If there is one in your area, then consider checking them out. Careful of bees though.

  5. Going for a hike would be a nice thing to contemplate but then there's the issue of bugs, particularly because it's a really bad year for mosquitoes and ticks. There's bug spray of course but listening to the mosquitoes trying to dive bomb me would drive me 'round the bend. I can get behind the scalloped potatoes and strawberry shortcake though!

    1. Maryanne,
Good point. Mosquitoes around here were out early.
Getting out the old mandoline to slice up potatoes will bring back memories. Mother always made scalloped potatoes for Easter dinner.

  6. I hope you've enjoyed your weekend. Lots of fun activities there. Scalloped potatoes are my favourite way to eat that root vegetable. Mmm good!
