Is thinking on your feet a really good idea?

Or is a better idea when on your feet to stay focused on what you are doing?

I say stay focused because I’m tired of turning around and bumping into something. It feels as if I move on scroll instead of step by step.

This time if year I move furniture into the summer arrangement. This mid month week of April 2026 has rain forecast for two days. Moving things is perfect indoor exercise. The timing is perfect. I’ll be in better shape by Summer to get outdoors more.

I notice that when I watch travel videos, I want to travel more. Watch home improvement shows, I want power tools. Camping videos, I want to make a coffee outdoors and sit in a tent when it is raining. What we feed our brain digests what we enjoy to encourage us to engage in that activity.

This week I’ll watch exercise videos. See how that goes.

Have an adventurous & wonderful week!

  1. I moved a few small things yesterday. I needed to open up a space...but I never think on my feet. Janice

    1. Janice,
Being sharp and fast thinking has left the station for me. 🤣

  2. Ah, I agree Maywyn about what we watch and read affects our focus. Right now I have been reading and watching you-tube videos on gardening. It has made me ill with fever - garden fever (lol) - Hugs! P.S. be careful moving that furniture around.

    1. Debbie,
Prayers your gardening gets going soon 😂
Funny you say be careful. The other day squeezing by stuff to get in a closet, for a second I chuckled I might not get out of there alive. I stopped, and very carefully moved. The fold up exercise bike sometimes opens! 🤣

    1. Jeanie,
So far, breakfast this morning was cake. And that was without watching any cooking shows. 😂

  4. I think when I relax and am sitting down, there are too many things to walk around and I don't want to trip. :)

    1. Bill,
That’s a good idea. Tripping is especially scary to avoid.

  5. You will think this is funny but I do my best thinking in the bathroom. It's not that I spend all THAT much time in there, but when I do I often come up with some good ideas. The RC chuckles when I reappear with some thought in mind. Oftentimes he's not chuckling because some of those ideas involve work for him.
