When the sun shines just right in the trees on a windy day, the leaves sparkle. I stood looking at what I think is a beach or type of birch tree, thinking about how to paint that. There are ways, but none that are better than seeing it happen in person.
Spring is the best when seen outdoors as a physical biosphere experience.

If only the sun would come out here. Rained yesterday and not sure yet about today...but no sun right now. Beautiful pics of your sunshine. Our flowering pear tree is blooming too. Janice
ReplyDeleteJanice,
DeleteHappy Pear Tree Blooms! A beautiful scent, it is fun to see the little pears emerge.

Birch trees are my very favorites. I used to see many more of them here -- I wonder why they seem to be disappearing?
ReplyDeleteJeanie,
DeleteBirch trees, I think, are delicate, fall over easily. Maybe the hot weather like last summer stressed them out. Climate change issues.

Lovely photos-and you are so right-to really experience spring-it's wonderful to just be outside and hear the birds and smell the air. We are having way too many rain days-so that makes going outside a bit hard (it's cold too!) but my plants are up and there's hope for warmer days!
ReplyDeleteDebra,
DeleteThe massive area of rain we shared here in New England. Today looks dry and sunny. ☀️

aah - sunshine - a rare commodity over the winter and thus hugely appreciated when we finally see it. I appreciate you noticing the sunlight on the branch, something I most likely would never have paid any attention to.
