Reading blogs is often a boost of inspiration. To enhance the experience, I’ll pursue finding blogs in areas of interest. A weekly blog expedition will add blogs to a bookmark folder.
In the weeks following, reading the favorites will sort the blogs to regularly read, and the others to visit sometimes.
What’s interesting starting out to blog search is that in the year’s of my blog reading, my favorites don’t cover well my main interests. The majority are for needlework, sewing, crafts, and such. I read more about gardening and quilting than I do fine art, creative writing or geology.
Fine Point. It is the people over content that are interesting! I will explore that idea further during my stepping back healing time.

ReplyDeleteJust a note of interest - I can read your blog post in my Inoreader feed, but when I come to your blog itself to leave a comment, I can't read the text because it's 'hidden' within the picture of the yellow flowers. Not sure if it's a your end issue or a my end issue.

Once I added text, code to close was created that fixed the glitch.

I hope you find some blogs that you can relate to during this time of rest. I usually like the blogs that are a little of "this and that" - home, holidays, nature, food, decorating, and more. Have fun sewing!

Very few blogs I read cover my interests, but as you said, May, it is the people rather than the content that are always interesting. Some blogs are read more often than others.

That's so fun to read and collect with craft enthusiasts. I would love to connect with you and the friends you are making. I absolutely love sewing. I love it so much I am will do some carpet cleaning if that means I get some me time to sow after.

my mood, my spirit is elevated so much by reading blogs. hearing about what other people are doing, viewing the pictures and words they share. i like all blogs but i am primarily drawn to the spirit of the writer, more than the content of the blog. i do enjoy "crafty" blogs but i also read "jim and barbs adventures". they live on a farm and we have nothing in common BUT i love what they do and reading about their relationship and travels.
