Here we go again with the end of another lovely 2026 month.
Time, I say for me, did not fly by. This last week (werk as the keyboard prefers), coping with anxiety, the days went by very slow. A sloth could have won a race if there was a race.
Living with anxiety: Part 2 will be next week starting over on Tuesday. This post is a filler of sorts.
I managed to do errands yesterday. It felt strange after being in a sofa tunnel for a few days, like out of the dark and into the light.
There was an almost session that arose. I almost went to the place I want to visit. I almost did a walk-in for a hair cut. I almost went into the grocery store instead of the McD drive thru. I almost visited the Robert Frost Interpretive Trail. I almost went to Home Depot to look at vacuums. I almost ordered a chocolate shake.
Have an Almost September Weekend
Sometimes we all have Almost weeks. Comes with the territory. I need a nice, new oversized flannel shirt!
ReplyDeleteJeanie,
DeleteAmazon flannel shirt shopping is the least expense and widest range of colors. Prices vary as well as quality. Unfamiliar name brands are nearly everywhere. LL Bean is a good choice.
May
As I have said-feeling it! I know those days. Wishing you the very best May.
ReplyDeleteDebra,
DeleteOh, for sure. Autumn is near!
The air conditioner will be off more than on with cooler days
being more frequent.
The best to you
May
I am going kicking and screaming into September because the summer has been far too short - again. It's dull and miserable today so it's harbingers of things to come and I already feel it.
ReplyDeleteMaryanne,
DeleteI agree, summer has been too short. Temperatures have been beautiful, but not summer like.
May
I also bought flannel shirts this weekend, two of them, on sale at L.L. Bean as there is an outlet store in nashua, NH. Now, I have to decide which older shirts may be leaving home. You did have quite a list of }
ReplyDeletealmosts" and on occasion I have had some as well.
