Not Out, Just About

Discovery. The source of silver glitter here and there following me around is from a plastic sprig of pine. The glitter does add a magical vibe to my home.

Projects old & new. Sorting my fabric stash has begun, my domestic archaeology style dig. I have quilting plans to start, and culling for a donation bag.

The lemon is cheerful  as a reminder it is time to make a lemon meringue pie.

Food.  A lovely source of potassium, pitted dates have brightened the drearies of winter for me. At Hannaford's in Middlebury, Vermont, they are on the shelf under the display near the bananas. For a morning snack between the 1st snd 2nd meals, 2 or 3 dates are perfect with spring water.

Old Project Found! It is a nice surprise to find a throw pillow cover I started years ago, pinned and ready to sew up. The Medieval theme upholstery fabric is enough for only one large pillow cover.

That is how my week is so far. Glitter. Knee pain. Blahs. I'm getting use to them all.
Not the bird though that banged into the patio window just now. I suspect a hawk.

How is your 6th week of 2023 going?
