Pretty - and easy to create, which is a win/win in my books!
ReplyDeleteMaryanne,
ReplyDeleteA very easy project. The trick is to save tomato cages before autumn or else they will be difficult to find.
One lighted fake tree outside the patio window will be nice. I don't know why I didn't think of it before.
What a creative way to do a pretty decoration!
ReplyDeleteI should make a couple of these fir either side if my steps.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the tutorial
Cathy
Cathy,
ReplyDeleteThey look better at night than in the daylight.
It takes adjusting to fix the empty space.s
Have fun making them.
Such an awesome little project-love it
ReplyDeleteHappy new week hugs from the lake
Marie,
ReplyDeleteThey are a contribution to the holiday atmosphere as well as winter.
Kathy,
ReplyDeleteOne would look nice on your deck, tied to the rail, with the lake in the background.
this is so elegant ~ very creative ~
ReplyDeleteWishing you good health, laughter and love in your days ~

Carol,
ReplyDeleteI can see such a tree tied to your deck rail as well.
Hugs
I have a small tomato cage tree we did once at Southern Exposure. Only we shoved the lights up inside of the tree and not overdo the branches (our branches were flocked) so the lights shine through. It's one project I bring out every year though I think I might have to replace the lights soon!
ReplyDeleteJeanie,
ReplyDeleteI like the lights inside the cage. I almost made the tree that way this year. The way they are wrap around the cage over the greenery, it takes a few tweaks to get it just right so there's no blank spaces.
